Flower Child | El Paso Family Photographer
This is Julia. At times she can be shy. But when she wants to, she really knows how to turn on the child star persona.
She and her family booked a couple of photo sessions that really allowed them to relax and have fun as a family, and their personalities and love for each other really shine through in these bright and summery photos.
Two Cool Kids | El Paso Family Photographer
Let me introduce you to Seth and Julia, two cool kids who had a fun time during their photo shoot. There’s more photos to come with these two and their mother, but I thought I’d give you a sneak peek at what’s in store.

From Marfa to El Paso | El Paso Family Photographer
A couple of weeks back, I had the pleasure of shooting some family portraits for the Ramseys. They traveled by train from Marfa to El Paso for a quick family getaway, and it was exciting to hear the story of their brief visit. They arrived at the historic Union Depot, stayed in Downtown El Paso, visited local museums, and they even took the opportunity to catch a showing of the Broadway show Wicked during its run at the Plaza Theatre.
It’s always good to hear of out-of-towners who come to El Paso and really enjoy their time here. It makes you realize that there’s often more to do here than you realize at times. They were a fun family with a great laid-back attitude and that all made for a cool photo shoot.
These Boots . . . | El Paso Family Photographer
. . . were made for exploring. I just want to share with you a preview from a fun family photo shoot around Downtown El Paso with one very cool family. There’ll be more to come in the next few days.
Oh, and I wish all of you a happy Valentine’s Day. Remember, the love you get is equal to the love you give. Cheers.
On The Way | El Paso Maternity Photographer
Here is a quick preview of expectant mother Ruth. She, her husband and her daughter had a fun time during their shoot, and I’ll have more photos from their maternity/family photo session up here soon.
New Age | El Paso Quinceñera Photographer
Sasha recently celebrated her 15th birthday in grand fashion. While Sasha was my first client who hired me to shoot a quinceñera, the assignment was very similar to a wedding. You still have a client who needs the emotion and details of her special day captured. The family is all gathered to celebrate a milestone of life. And there is still a great party to be had. Here is a portrait of Sasha. There’ll be more photos of the celebration in the coming days.
Ramirez + Bazdresch with Baby Alessa | El Paso Family Photographer
I’m very happy to post these family photos taken at Memorial Park last month. I’ve known the Ramirez family for a long time, so I was excited when my friend Amanda told me that she wanted some family photos on her recent trip into El Paso.
She rounded up her boyfriend Danny along with her mother, sister Adriana and brother-in-law Fito with her new niece Alessa. It was a big group to shoot, but we made it as casual and laid-back as we could and I think that level of comfort shows in these photos. And Alessa is a natural in front of the camera, even giving us her best Gene Simmons face in a few shots.
The afternoon was blessed with great sunlight. The shoot took us up and down the hills of Memorial Park was complete with four fashionable outfit changes for Baby Alessa (including her sporty Air Jordan shoes). I think you’ll enjoy looking at these images as much as we enjoyed making them.

Chloe’s First Communion | El Paso Family Photographer
Last month, I visited the beautiful Butterfield Trail golf course to photograph the reception for Chloe’s First Holy Communion. It was a bright, sunny day and the lushness of golf course provided for some great backgrounds.
I grabbed some quick shots of Chloe and her family by the small lake, then we did some more portraits in the cooler (much, much cooler) shade before more family arrived for for the celebration.
Chloe had a blast running around with her cousins and friends while the rest of the family shared conversation and laughs over lunch. It was a very nice celebration that I was happy to be able to capture.
